Traffic Violations

In Virginia it doesn’t take much to get ticketed for reckless driving. In Virginia reckless driving is driving more then 20 miles over the speed limit, for example driving 46 in a 25 or 56 in a 35 or driving over 80 MPH even if the speed limit is 65 MPH. Getting convicted of reckless driving is a class one misdemeanor making it a criminal offense.  Being convicted of DUI is just as if not more serious than being convicted of reckless driving. While not everyone needs to have an attorney represent them in traffic court you should at least speak to one before your hearing to understand the consequences of being convicted as charged.  Please call my office to schedule a free ten minute phone consultation.
